Containment Processes
You have mold or asbestos in your home, and you don't want to cross contaminate the rest of the house. What can you do?
Call PENOCO!
We will evaluate risks of cross contamination based on your specific situation. As necessary, our skilled technicians can utilize state of the art processes and equipment to prevent the contamination from being spread throughout the indoor environment during the abatement process. This can include airborne contamination, contamination from clothing, heating and air conditioning ducts, and others.
Indoor remediation can include localized abatement processes, or a full containment process. Depending on our evaluation, and in accordance with strict federal, state, and local regulations. This may include:
- Creating a custom contaiment area which is enclosed in plastic and taped to control air transfer with adjacent areas during the abatement process..
- Having technicians change into disposable clothing and then shower as they exit the containment area.
- Utilizing negative air pressure from high capacity exhaust fans. These fans are equipped with a HEPA filter designed to capture asbestos fibers.
We take your health and safety seriously.
